Bernitsas Law acted as Greek law counsel to Piraeus Bank in connection with the successful issuance and offering to institutional investors of a €350m Senior Preferred Bond and the listing thereof on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
The issuance is part of Piraeus Bank’s strategy to increase its minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities (MREL), which is a supervisory requirement for all banks.
