Our practice is one of the foremost in Greece with an expertise in both benchmark and mainstream domestic and cross-border transactions. We act for international and domestic banks, investment firms and other financial institutions, insurance companies, funds and public and private companies which do business in Greece. Over the last three decades, we have participated in the vast majority of significant deals to have taken place in terms of both complexity and value and have structured and executed numerous pioneering transactions.

Opportunity

We are looking to hire a highly motivated with adequate knowledge and experience lawyer to join our teams. You will be working on a wide variety of (i) capital markets offerings, transactions involving private and State controlled companies and debt and equity transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements and tender offers, and (ii) M&A transactions also involving listed companies or listed counterparties, within highly established teams with significant sector specific experience.

You will be exposed to a broad variety of work, with your responsibilities including drafting transaction documentation, advising on regulatory compliance, conducting due diligence and transaction management. A substantial proportion of your work will be in large scale cross-border deals.

Experience Required

Have a strong interest in Capital Markets and M&A law.

Minimum of 5 years of active professional experience in the Capital Markets law and M&A sectors is a prerequisite. 

Have a strong academic record in these sectors, preferably with postgraduate studies.

Be able to work in both Greek and English.

Have strong familiarisation with and active involvement in regulatory work relevant to each of these sectors.
