Opportunity

We have an opening for a mid-level associate to join our highly established team with significant sector specific experience. You will be exposed to a wide variety of competition and antitrust matters, including novel and high-profile merger control, concerted and restrictive practices, market and sectoral investigations, abuse of dominance and State aid cases in a wide range of industry sectors. You will also provide advice to national and multinational companies on competition law matters associated with their business, including with their day-to-day compliance issues and become acquainted with other fields of law, such as data privacy and TMT.

Experience Required

Have a bachelor of laws or equivalent and a strong academic record

Have a Master’s degree (LLM) or equivalent postgraduate diploma from a well-acclaimed law school in Greece or abroad (preferably in EU/competition law)

Be admitted to the Athens or one of the regional Bar Associations in Greece, admissions to foreign Bar Associations are welcomed

Be able to work in Greek and English

Have excellent drafting skills

2-5 years of professional experience as a lawyer, some of which must be in EU, Competition & Antitrust law

Be committed to delivering legal work of the highest quality and have a keen attention to detail

Skills

Fluent written and spoken English and Greek

Ability to work effectively within a team

Proactive, enthusiastic and client orientated work ethic

Good analytical skills
