Opportunity

We are looking to hire a highly motivated lawyer to join our Intellectual Property team. We have vast experience in the ownership and licensing structures available to optimise the protection, enforceability, tax efficiency and exploitation of intellectual property assets. Our lawyers provide advice on compliance with the regulatory and legislative framework governing intellectual property on both an EU and National level.

You will be working on advisory and transactional matters in relation to the licensing and transfer of intellectual property assets and in corporate and finance transactions where brands and intellectual property constitute an important element of the deal.

You will be exposed to a broad variety of work, with your responsibilities including due diligence reviews of intellectual property portfolios, trademarks and patents within the context of both commercial and corporate deals, drafting and negotiating all types of contract in this sector, including licensing, distribution, franchising, sponsorship agreements and compliance. Experience Required

Minimum 2 years’ active professional experience in Intellectual Property is a prerequisite.

Experience in drafting and negotiating IP agreements including software licensing agreements, as well as in trademark registrations, oppositions, and cancellations.

Experience in due diligence and risk analysis related to IP portfolios.

Requirements and Skills

Should have a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a strong academic record. A specialised Master’s degree (LLM) would be an asset.

Must be admitted to the Athens or one of the regional Bar Associations in Greece. Dual qualification admission is welcomed.

Excellent analytical and drafting skills.

Fluent written and spoken English and Greek.

Ability to work effectively within a team and strong interpersonal skills.

Good communication skills.

Inquisitive, driven, proactive, enthusiastic and client orientated work ethic.
