Bernitsas Law advised Santander UK PLC in various capacities including arranger, original lender, agent, security agent and original hedge counterparty, in their entry into an English law governed $18m facilities agreement with Navarino (UK) Limited as original borrower and its Cypriot and Greek subsidiaries.
The security package included an English law debenture providing for the creation of security over inter alia the shares of the Greek and the Cyprus subsidiary of Navarino (UK) Limited. Navarino (UK) Limited is one of the world's largest maritime technology companies and the world’s largest Inmarsat Fleet Xpress VAR, operating across 6 shipping-centric nations.
