At Bernitsas Law, we have always been committed to supporting the development and advancement of young lawyers and investing in the future of the legal community. This year we are proud to have sponsored three exceptional law student teams in their participation in international moot competitions. We would like to extend our congratulations to the following Athens Law student teams for their performance in the:
1 Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot which took place in London between 3 and 6 November 2022. Team: Angeliki Georgakopoulou, Nikoleta Kamboukou, Eleni Karoki- Mavrikou, Dimitrios Samoulikos, Efstathios Tsigkanos and Maria Eleni Chounta.
They won 5th place in the claimant's memorials category and 14th place in the respondent’s memorial category.
2 Leiden Sarin International Air Law Moot Court Competition, which took place in Leiden between 12 and 14 May 2023. Team: Efrosyni Koukoufilippou, Paraskevi Tsampika Chalkidi, Eirini Axarli.
The team won 7th place in written memorials and 10th place in oral pleadings.
3 John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on World Trade Organization Law which took place in Salzburg between 12 and 16 April 2023. Team: Evgenia Avraam, Eirini Maniati, Fotis Ntinos, Sevastiani Plakoutis.
The team won 6th place in the European regional rounds.
Our Associate Yolanda Kalogirou attended the Award Ceremony which took place on Thursday 7 July at the Grand Hall of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
