Bernitsas Law acted as Greek law counsel to Piraeus Bank in connection with the issuance and offering of its new €500m Senior Preferred Notes due December 2029 to international and domestic institutional investors, as well as their listing on the Euro MTF Market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
The transaction was successfully priced on 28 November 2023 and is expected to settle on 5 December 2023. It attracted significant interest from more than 150 institutional investors and was oversubscribed by 3.2 times, clearly indicating investors’ confidence in the prospects of Piraeus Bank.
