Bernitsas Law celebrates International Women's Day

This Year’s International Women’s Day campaign theme is ‘Inspire Inclusion’. We take great pride in our diverse and resilient women staff, each with unique backgrounds and journeys. Today we embrace our culture of commitment to gender equality and celebrate the achievements of all the women we work with every day, who have forged their path and been an integral part of ours.

Not just those who grace courts, panels, and boardrooms, but also the unseen women in the workplace, who greet us with a smile every morning, ensuring our day begins smoothly. We are grateful for the women who support us at every turn while balancing the responsibilities of their families and loved ones.

A special thank you this year, goes to our own Katerina, a much loved part of our team and a shining example of a strong and resilient woman. She has been taking care of us for 25 years, making sure everything is in order for our day to start, always with a warm smile.

We have always believed that, like every organisation, we can make a difference by committing to an inclusive environment for the women who work here. We also look to ways to contribute to female empowerment through our Social Commitment Programme and in honour of International Women’s Day, we are making a donation to SAO Association Hellas - Amina Centre for Displaced Women in support of the educational and training causes.

SAO Association Hellas assists women in their quest to rebuild their lives in safety and dignity in their new host environment by addressing their needs to their root and working with them to overcome trauma and unfavourable conditions and perceptions. SAO runs two community day centres in Athens and on Lesvos where the organisation implements a Psychosocial Support Programme with a focus on integration through #education. SAO helps displaced women manage traumatic experiences, regain their strength and maximise their capacities and skills and support their efforts to forge a safe, independent and fulfilling life away from adversity, suffering, and sexual and gender- based violence.
