Bernitsas Law advised doBank SpA in connection with the servicing platform to be established for non-performing SME exposures of Alpha Bank AE, Ergasias SA, National Bank of Greece SA and Piraeus Bank SA, the first project of this type in Greece including all four Greek systemic banks (Project Solar) and with an aggregate balance of €1.8bn.
The platform will operate in accordance with the provisions of the recent legal and regulatory framework on non-performing bank loans (Law 4354/2015) and is intended to facilitate the securitisation of the relevant SME portfolios under Law 3156/2003.
doBank is the largest group specialising in the problematic loan management services sector in Italy.
